What Natasha M doesn't like about La Docena:
Ive been coming here throughout the years. However this last weekend my friends said they 've heard about people getting sick. I ordered the ostiones roquefeller and aguachile tatemado . It wasn 't even 30 minutes after eating the oysters that the only 2 people that ate oysters, myself and my friends got up and could not stop throwing up in their bathroom. Once the bill came we mentioned this to the captain of waiter... View all feedback.
I'm not sure about you, but I love talking about my latest find. And if you're ever in GDL aka The Land of Tapatios, you gotta carve out some time to have a trendy, delicious meal among beautiful people. Because, after all, you are all of those things, especially DELICIOUS. Yep, I talked to your ex. Okay, now onto the restaurant. For one thing, if you're in a hurry, hit up a taco stand, cuz if you come here, you gon' hafta wait yo' turn. I'm talking ramen line out the dang door. But ain't no door here, but you can grab a seat and tiny table near the hostess stand and order drinks while you wait out the :30-60 min wait ya got comin', but believe me, it'll be worth it. As me and my party waited, I noticed the servers bringing some delicious looking grilled octopus over a bed of crispy yam chips on wooden boards. Oh yes, I'm not even sure my party wanted octopus, but I sure did. Noted. I sipped on my minty fresh mojito as my friends guzzled their buttery Chardonnay nays, and ice cold brewskis. We took in the nice weather and felt that this upscale place was definitely a breath of fresh air. As we were seated, we were sure to close out with our bar tab and settled into our table. I did the honors and ordered the following: 1. that bomb ass grilled octopus 2. grilled vegetables 3. cheese round with fresh tomato topping 4. some chicken or fish skewer 5. a dozen Kumamoto oysters 6. a dozen Chocolata clams It is rare that I can say we loved it all, but truly we did. The service was terrific, the ambiance was fabulous, my friends (of course), as you are too TOP NOTCH, and the food was fresh and delightful. The only thing I regret was NOT dressing up and NOT wearing dangerous high heels as I strutted through Andares in dark sunglasses and 3 coats of lip gloss.

It wasn 't even 30 minutes after eating the oysters that the only 2 people that ate oysters, myself and my friends got up and could not stop throwing up in their bathroom. Once the bill came we mentioned this to the captain of waiters of the restaurant and he just said that 's weird, everything is always fresh here . No empathy towards myself that could not leave their bathroom and got food poisoning from their food. I am never coming back and do not recommend anyone going there. After a small research with my close friends, this is common
Mostly outdoor seatings at Andares so you would have to endure smokes if you're sitting in the area. The seafoods are so fresh and especially with the limitless options of oysters. Arrachera steak is also superb. Great for surf and turf meals.
I am start by saying what a great service we had. Three waiters were around us and changed our plates when needed. The food was phenomenal I liked the fish it was so juicy and top it with cilantro and onions. Aguachile was great and the 1/2 kilo of shrimp amazing. On another I found out they have another hidden Restaurant in the back that needs a reservation unfortunately we did not and too late to make one for us. Restaurant name is Juniko which is also dozen in Japanese and you eat what the chef prepare I will make sure to make reservation next time in town
