We went to a packed but very welcoming environment, we had to sit at the bar because open tables were reserved there. No matter because the Astros game was up and the TV was right in front of us. The beers were cold, we ordered a guacamole and chip appetizer. The appetizer took about 30 minutes to get out, but the chips were just fried and it was delicious. What User doesn't like about Hawks Sport:
This establishment supports the All Lives Matter movement and does not recognize that they are in the wrong and do not chose to educate themselves. Also my family visited Zapata and decided to eat there for the first time and it took them close to ONE HOUR for fried pickles and dealt with terrible service. View all feedback.
Nice little country bar. Peaceful and good music too. Very friendly staff and moats. Easy.
I drove about 40 minutes just to try this place, and the trip was worth it. The ride was pleasant, and my wings were perfectly crispy as I requested. The atmosphere and service were incredibly welcoming.
I never ate here, but my husband says they're great. And eat here when he works in Zapata. Today is his birthday and is 5 hours from home and I cannot celebrate with him and our son, I facebook informed her and immediately got an answer. I asked if they could surprise him with a birthday dessert, and they were soooo courteous and sweet to help me celebrate in any way!! It took every 5 minutes to discuss details about how he looked or how he wore. I add pictures of our conversation to show how incredibly nice they were!! I recommend this place only the hospitality alone!!! And the man recommended for food and service! Thank you for acting like this!! And I'm really jealous that I couldn't have any of this food!!
We dined in a bustling yet very welcoming atmosphere and ended up sitting at the bar since all the open tables were reserved. However, it turned out to be a great spot because the Astros game was playing on the TV right in front of us. The beers were nice and cold, and we ordered a guacamole and chip appetizer. Although it took about 30 minutes for the appetizer to arrive, the freshly fried chips were absolutely delicious. Our main courses—a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and a burger—took another 30 minutes to come out, which felt a bit long for such simple dishes. In the meantime, we enjoyed discussing the game and sipping our beers. The waitress was very attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of. When the food finally arrived, it was fantastic and freshly made. Despite the long wait for the food, everything else was great. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful service, quality food, and decent pricing. Definitely, one of Zapata counties little gems if you are looking for a nice place to kick back with some friends or just order some delivery to plop on your couch.
