What Թամար Հովսեփյան doesn't like about ع البال:
Even though the food was exquisite, in particular the curry shrimp with rice, but the head waiter was on his first day, should be more trained and experienced, as he didn't even know the items on the menu, and had us pay for tea which was supposed to be free. All in all everything was good and we will be going again. View all feedback.

We decided to end our road trip to aami2 by visiting this place; having read some positive reviews about it and seeing pictures that were tempting but unfortunately our experience was very disrespectful and the waiters were not professional. We started by ordering the spring rolls along with plenty of other appetizers and we asked the waiter if there's anything besides the vegetables in the spring rolls, he said and confirmed twice that there is no meat and only vegetables later on when the food arrived we noticed halfway through the spring rolls that they had some minced chicken and we had people that were vegetarian on the table so the waiter came and told us that he never knew that before and we had to send them back. Later on the mhammara came, it was extremely salty and very spicy (the chili overpowered the taste of everything else and on the top was molasses which is normal and tahini which I never saw before in any restaurant that I ate in, the dish was left untouched and 5 of us agreed that it was inedible and the funny thing is that I asked the waiter to taste it and he said that it tastes not only normal but good. We had to ask 3 waiters for bread before we were able to get some and start eating (what's the point of putting hommos, mtabbal, mhammara,... On the table if there is no bread? Moving on, one of our orders was baked potatoes with vegetables which also had meat in them for no reason. During this entire time we weren't being vulgar or mean to any of the staff we just made polite complaints so as not to ruin the experience but right when we were eating, the manager came and told us that we have to move the table because people were coming to sit right next to us so they wanted to make some space, before finishing his sentence and before we were able to get up he started dragging my friend's chair and our table accross the room which felt very disrespectful. I can always understand some mistakes that often happen in restaurants but this was unacceptable and unfortunately we won't consider visiting this restaurant again.
The quality of food is poor and so is the service. The prices are very reasonable (reflect the quality of the service and the food) The place is more geared towards people wishing to have shisha (although the flavors are limited the quality of tobacco is poor) not memorable dining experiences definitely would not consider in my future dining plans.
