The food is very good... read more We have visited bar Josefi several times and highly recommend it. It is hidden away in a small square with orange trees and is family run. The food is very good in particular the spinach croquettes, sea bass and gaspacho and the portions are huge. The prices are very reasonable and the waitress is friendly. It is off the tourist track but worth the extra few minutes walk

We sat for 75 mi... read more We chose this restaurant based on the former reviews (Google), since it had the best average in the city. However it was a true disappointment. We sat for 75 minutes before receiving our food even though it wasn't a busy time at all (a few other tables with guests). We had scrambled eggs with potato and chorizo, shrimps in marinated oil and entrecote. The eggs were bathed in half a liter of oil, the meat was completely tasteless and dry and the shrimps had not had their intestines removed which made them taste rather gross. All in all a very bad experience.

Sitting outside the waitress eventually brought us menus and a drink but never came b... read more We arrived in Zahara de la Sierra and went into this restaurant for lunch. Sitting outside the waitress eventually brought us menus and a drink but never came back to take our order. She refused to make eye contact. Eventually we gave up and left after struggling to pay our bill. Very disappointing service.
