Had multiple gluten free dessert options, made of Almond flour
Compared to the other patisserie in Zagreb, this is probably the best. Located in a cute area just over the central square, the shop has a nice traditional style. We had the apple cake which was not fantastic, but good. The caramelized nuts crust was tasty and crispy, the filling was okay, the dough was a bit weak in terms of flavour, but it seems to be a thing of Zagreb cakes. Espresso was okay. Staff was very polite. Outdoor space is warm and cozy. Prices are fair. Overall, if you want to eat cakes in Zagreb, that is definitely the best choice in the area in my opinion.
The place is amazing and I love coming here every day. But please at least add a key to the cafe's toilet, I'm often worried that someone may try to enter. The privacy is important!
What a divine dessert place!! It has a small cute indoor space and then this lovely gazebo sort of seating across the road, with comfortable couches and chairs and shade from the sun. Amazing gelato and cake, and relatively cheap compared to some other places.
Amelie is my favourite cake and ice cream place in Zagreb. I can recommend their pistachio ice cream. Quality ingredients, reasonable prices. Service is good, but they have been understaffed for years now so be prepared to wait longer, especially if sitting on the terrace as one waiter serves ~15 tables.
