such a nice, secret pub feeling! and of course the tolkien references on what was a joy. her home beer was delicious, and they also had a tonne other craft beer available. they are warned: there are smoking inside and they do not take credit cards. but it is worth independent. if I lived in zagreb, that would be my pub. The most beautiful bar I have ever seen! recommend them for every fan of the professor or only fantasy fans!
It is a great place to have a very nice variety of beers and wonderful bartenders!!! Not too many tourists either. Right next to a lovely little park and lots of restaurants.
Such a surprising place ! If you're a Tolkien fan, you MUST visit this place ! We had dragon's beer (smajka pivo) and we even bought souvenirs ! Totally going to visit again on my next stop in Zagreb !!
If you crave for good beer (of, like, any kind) you go here. Period. Every time it's good atmosphere and kind staff. You will return after first visit so each time grab a different kind of beer. Tolkien's House offers everything, from Croatian home-made to international ones. Great place!
Sweet decor which reminds Tolkien's universe. Large choice of beer and whisky. Quieter than the noisy street downstairs.
