I and my wife were in Zadar last year in October. We found this cozy restaurant spontaneously. Meals were so delicious that we came to dinner the next day. The owner is very nice. By the way, we come to Zadar and this restaurant in the next days! View all feedback.

Stopped to have some quick drinks, only one other table was occupied. The waiter came and asked for our order, we asked for the drinks. The reply we got was “we are a restaurant, not a bar.” At the end we asked for the bill, it was 80 hrk, which he “estimated” at 12 EUR (actual rate was a bit over 10 EUR). He was rude and the overall experience was not nice. Do not recommend. View all feedback.
Great local cuisine right on the main street, but not main street prices. Prompt efficient service and wonderfully delicious. Would Defo come back to try more

Nice restaurant on one of the quieter side streets. The waiter was kind. The fish soup was very nice and the muscles were great!
Nice restaurant on pretty street. Very nice and helpful people work here. Finally, we have home Snaps (Slivovice) it is made at home Snaps from plumber. It is typical of Croatia and the Czech Republic. We liked to eat here.
Came here at lunchtime today. Had octopus salad, grilled tuna steak and grilled squid with a side of rice, plus a half size carafe of wine. The tuna steak was flavourful and perfectly cooked just breaking off easily in tender juicy segments as it should. The grilled squid was very good too. Octopus salad a little salty to my taste but still delicious and the white wine hit the spot. Rice was nicely flavoured too. They charged 5 kuna for bread, which was brought out initially and we ate, so no bother about that. It’s not that much to pay at about 60 pence and I don’t expect anything for free. We finished with some good espresso. It all filled us up adequately and for about £36 including wine it was well worth it. The grilled items and rice were served on one big plate with sharing plates provided but it was understandable with the tables being fairly small. Food came out promptly, all together. Service was good. The waiter was serving 10 or so tables on his own in several languages. He checked in with us if the food was ok (it was very good), he looked rushed off his feet and was generally attentive. A little waive for his attention was all that was needed at times and that’s to be expected when it’s a one man show. He was professional and spoke good English. There was no service charge (which he deserved and we added ourselves). Given the other restaurants around the corner were charging a lot more and looked like tourist traps this is a great alternative just around the corner with fair prices and a nice homely decor. You can dine out on the street or indoors. We were advised to sit indoors and lo and behold it absolutely pelted down with rain minutes later! We hadn’t checked the reviews beforehand but they obviously read their feedback here given the quality was much better than some older reviews suggest. So yes, overall a big recommend!
