my tour group drove from genf schweiz over the genfer lake to yvoire. it is a beautiful small French village with many food and we had luck to choose restaurant des pecheurs for lunch. we both ordered the local perch file. I had garlauch French green beans and my friend had sweetened as a side. the cash cup came sitting on a hot dish to keep the food warm. service was friendly and some workers spoke English. we had a... we are disappointed with our rubbery, whitish, bleaching, and melted butter sauce with lemon not top. the panna cotta taste medicine has the orange really not good and everything remains very expensive for what it is. View all feedback.
The restaurant is famous for the fish perch fillet , I went for the one with the lemon butter sauce and it was absolutely delicious! It comes with generous quantities of French fries and salad. They offer complimentary water in a very cute medieval jug.
We'd been turned away from another restaurant, rather rudely, because it was almost 2pm. However, we were welcomed here and quickly shown to an outside table. The service was really good, very helpful and pleasant, the menu was good and the food was delicious.
During our visit to the yvoire, we have wandered along the streets and the lake and then look for a restaurant where we could eat typical cuisine in a typical setting. This restaurant was first and foremost in line with us. a very warm and pleasant welcome, a typical decor. Good class service, well presented dishes and food is good, pleasant setting. overall satisfied and ready to return.
We wanted to eat in this restaurant a nice table of 4 was free but worry!! the waiter asks us to fold the stroller and the baby has the inside! for him is the rule folding the baby or leaving!! bravo for the welcome you are lucky to be in a hyper tourist city because the way you treat the customers deserves that you farm your restaurant with your perch nets the as of the lake but d estonia
