Ludi's Pacific Barbecue - Yuma

Wonderful sisig and adobo. Perfect spot to stop for lunch. Great Filipino flavors and good bang for your buck. New favorite spot in Yuma!

I’ve attached a picture of the lumpia that costs $1 on DoorDash. It was extremely small. They used tiny lumpia wrappers, and I found the pork filling to be lacking in flavor, needing either salt or soy sauce. Additionally, they defaulted to a spicy banana sauce, which was disappointing because I believe plain banana sauce is far superior. Overall, the food was quite bland compared to what I know and cook, thanks to my full Filipina mother. The adobo was pale, and its flavor was weak. I suspect it was pre-cooked to be bland so it could be used in various recipes, which means it didn’t have time to absorb the adobo flavors. However, I still enjoyed it; the chicken was tender and cooked through, but it needed a thicker adobo sauce to give it more depth. The pancit was decent but nothing remarkable, and it was also bland, with just one tiny lemon for the entire serving. The lechon was rather disappointing—unseasoned, a bit chewy since it had probably been sitting out, and many parts were overcooked to the point of becoming tough and inedible. On a positive note, the white rice was well-cooked and nicely soft; most places often serve it too dry. However, the fried rice was very plain. It felt like every dish could have used 40% more soy sauce and garlic. Honestly, I’d prefer to make lumpia myself rather than order from this place again, except for the barbecue pork, which was delicious and very flavorful—clearly glazed before grilling.

I went for lunch and was greeted right away. The staff member walked me through the menu, highlighting the favorites and the daily special. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. It seems to be a family-run establishment. Don't miss the chance to dine here!

My family stopped by this restaurant on our way to San Diego, and we ordered a range of dishes. Every single one was outstanding! If I lived in the area, I would definitely be coming here every week!

LOVE LOVE LOVE It’s so great to have a delicious option! We love the boodle fight variety and flavors and it feeds so many people. I also had to poke and it was delicious!
