He warmly greeted us as we entered and mai... read more However, the young man working at Chester's on Tuesday, December 29, between 8 and 10 PM, pleasantly broke that mold. He warmly greeted us as we entered and maintained a courteous and professional demeanor throughout our visit. He efficiently handled cooking and taking orders while greeting both incoming and outgoing guests with friendly smiles, saying things like "welcome" and "take care, thanks." As we enjoyed our meal, he expertly managed his half of the food court, which he shared with Subway, pitched in with some clean-up, and engaged with customers on both sides. He genuinely seemed to enjoy multitasking. The Subway employee was also no slouch, working quickly and efficiently. The positive atmosphere he created left even tired truckers smiling in appreciation. We were genuinely impressed with this high level of service, which reflects the work ethic and potential of young people in Yuma. We sincerely hope this company—or another—takes advantage of this young man's personable nature and drive. We wanted to take a moment to acknowledge this outstanding experience before wrapping up our night. Thank you, Yuma; we look forward to scheduling our next stop with you again.
