What Letha Dietrich doesn't like about Charki's Teriyaki:
i dont know what happened, as I remember eating here before and enjoying it. I got a beef bowl, but the rice was very mushy, like when you leave it sitting in the cooker for more than two days. The meat was dry andthe teriyaki sauce wasnt evenly spread to even cover the rice, which was the main thing in the meal. I could only eat it smothered in siracha. 1. A salmon and shrimp plate served with a house salad dressed in a fresh and delicious dressing—definitely highly recommended. 2. A chicken and beef plate with vegetables; the chicken was good, the vegetables were nice, but the beef was just okay—more on the chewy side, reminiscent of beef jerky. 3. A small serving of something tasty and spicy, which I highly recommend as well. I really appreciated the delightful little touches, such as the slices of fresh fruit in the salad and the asparagus served with the salmon and shrimp, as well as on top of the vegetables.
I had a fantastic first experience at this restaurant! I ordered the shrimp plate around noon, and it only took about 10 minutes for my freshly prepared meal to arrive. The house dressing on the salad was refreshing, paired perfectly with the crisp greens and fresh fruit. The rice and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The food was excellent, and there was a great selection of meals to choose from. I will definitely return to eat here again!
Charkis Teriyaki offers a variety of delicious Teriyaki dishes and other tasty options. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is very friendly.
The owner was so sweet and helpful, not to mention the DELICIOUS food. It is a small unnoticed place, but an amazing treasure of our beautiful Yuma!
I've been to this place 4 times. It's very good. I highly recommend it.
