Interurban - Yukon
Interurban
Description
Interurban offers a mixed culinary experience, marked by standout dishes and notable service. Diners rave about Heather's mac and cheese and the delicious burgers, particularly on Tuesday nights. Portions, however, have drawn some criticism, with many feeling that prices don't match serving sizes. The ambiance is inviting, and staff, like Candance, enhance the experience with their friendliness. While some takeout items have been inconsistent, on-site dining shines. For those willing to explore the menu, highlights include the bowtie pasta and chips with salsa, though there are a few menu items that may not meet expectations. Overall, a solid choice for a casual meal.

The service was fantastic! I ordered the fried pork chop, but it was tough and lacked flavor. The menu mentioned that it would be served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables...
I would characterize Interurban as being comparable to Applebee's. Their menu offers a wide variety of meal options, but it wasn't entirely clear to us what their specialties were.
I really enjoyed the mac and cheese and appreciated the generous portion of chips and salsa. I usually go for the bowtie pasta, which is always delicious, and the bread with honey butter is fantastic! However, the sweet potato fries I had today seemed a little undercooked.
The food here is just average. I wouldn't recommend the chicken or beef nacho appetizer; it's overpriced for what you get. The serving consists of only about 14 chips arranged on a plate.
Old Fashioned Burger was alright. Twice as expensive as these burgers used to be, but I feel like portions are a lot smaller! Baja Bowl was pretty good, I suppose. Costs far too much for a fast-food-sized portion of grilled chicken dolloped with a smidge of tortilla strips, rice, etc.
