This is my entire FAVORITE Sushi place! I love sushi, it's my favorite food, and Sugoi really knows how to make her rolls good and fresh. Great quality sushi, and beautiful culinary experience, with always plenty of seating, at least when I have been. Take-out is also great, I got this a few times when I didn't have much time for diving. Still tastes super and pretty much no difference than getting din-in! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sugoi Sushi:
This was our first time in this place. I've finished her Beaumont location, hands down better food. Others must agree to me because this place was dead for a Friday night. Your Beaumont location is always busy, so the service suffers... but much better food. I usually ordered one of six or seven of my favorite roles. What they have served on their Yucaipa is not the same and does not like it. I'll go on to her Beaumo... View all feedback.
The food was incredibly fresh and delicious! We tried the Caterpillar Roll, the Firefighter Roll, and the Tokyo Roll. The service was quick, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.
This is my absolute favorite sushi restaurant! I adore sushi—it's my top choice of food—and Sugoi truly excels at crafting fresh, delicious rolls. The sushi quality is excellent, and the dining experience is beautiful, with ample seating available every time I've visited. Take-out is also fantastic; I’ve ordered it a few times when I was short on time for dining in. It still tastes fantastic, and there's hardly any difference from the dine-in experience!
This was our first visit to this location, and I have to say, their Beaumont spot is far superior in terms of food. It seems others feel the same way, as this place was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. The Beaumont location is always bustling, which can lead to slower service, but the food is definitely worth it. I usually stick to one of my six or seven favorite rolls, but what they served in Yucaipa just didn’t compare, and I didn’t enjoy it. I think I’ll stick to the Beaumont location and skip the one in Yucaipa.
What a joke. I had better sushi in a gas station. We paid $82 for 5 reels, Jalapeno Popper and a dragon egg. Beyond disappointed. I should have gone to skewers. The fish on the reels was so thin, you can almost see it. Unbelievable. I don't think I'd be disappointed if the roles looked like the pictures on the menu. But they don't. They were half that big. I'm so upset that I can file a police report because I feel like robbed. Don't you believe me? Try it. Don't say I didn't warn you. Oh and btw the prices rose by $4-5 from the pictures in the Yelp menu.
I was super impressed with how fast the food was brought out. Hot calamari, spicy garlic edemanme. After we ordered it was out in less than 5 mins. I don't know if it was not so busy, but we got our food quick. After appetizer was brought out, we ordered our rolls and another appetizer (soft blue shell crab). In less than 5 mins we had a roll on our table and in another 5 mins we had our second roll brought out along with out last appetizer. It waz all so good. I got a spicy tuna roll with no rice wrapped in soy paper topped with spicy scallops. When I took my first bite of scallop my eyes about popped out of my head. LOL. Those scallops had a flavor on them that made my taste buds dance with delight. Also the scallops were cold on top of my spicy tuna roll. I was expecting hot scallops, so my mouth got a double surprise. I noticed they did not have riceless rolls on the menu, but I asked they were willing to wrap any roll in soy paper instead of rice!! I honestly didn't catch the price, my friend snatched the bill and paid before I got to see it. All good food, fast service. They had a tv playing how they make diffrent dishes. I noticed I kept my eyes on the TV. Lol good experience. If I'm ever in the neighborhood I will swing by and try a salad next time.
