Antonio's Quick Lunch - Yuba City

Absolutely love it!!!! The best tacos, nachos, and sopes in the area: so delicious!

Have you ever visited a restaurant that is incredibly dirty and has rude service, yet you keep going back because the food is just that good? If you haven’t, you should definitely check out Antonio's. I can’t rave enough about their food—it’s likely the best Mexican cuisine I’ve ever tasted. Just be prepared for quite a surprise when you step inside!

Let me highlight a few menu items: first up is the Garbage Burrito, which includes five different types of meat, and it's delicious. Next, you have to try the Garbage Nachos. They use nacho cheese, which pairs perfectly with the variety of meats, and it’s large enough to feed two average eaters. Lastly, anything with their grilled chicken is worth trying, as they do an excellent job grilling it. If you find yourself in Yuba City, make sure to stop by this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant—you won’t regret it!

I've been visiting Antonio's for over a decade, and they have never let me down. The food is consistently delicious, and if there’s ever a problem with our order, they are always happy to replace it without any fuss. The staff remains polite, even during their busiest times. Antonio's has been a beloved family favorite for years, and it will continue to be. Their garbage nachos and garbage burritos are always a hit with the crowd!

However, I do have an issue with the 4% surcharge for using a credit card. While I understand it’s part of doing business, many local small businesses don’t impose this fee, demonstrating that it can be managed without extra charges. Given the high volume of customers Antonio's attracts, I’m surprised they continue to implement this fee. If they were to eliminate the 4% credit card surcharge, I would likely visit more often, but they seem to have enough patrons willing to cover the cost for the convenience of not carrying cash. Unfortunately, I’m not in a financial position to pay such fees regularly. So, I’m deducting one star for the credit card surcharge. Update (March 6, 2022): Well, technology can be a bit unpredictable sometimes. The credit card terminal at the drive-thru wasn’t working, so the cashier asked those without cash to come inside to pay. I didn’t have any cash on me, which was slightly inconvenient on top of the 4% credit card fee. Nonetheless, the food remains great, and I have no complaints on that front.
