I visited this restaurant twice after my workouts, and both times I was served by Carlos. The service was friendly, personalized, and welcoming. The food was prepared exactly as I ordered and was delivered quickly. Now, regarding the food—after dining here, your expectations for Mexican cuisine will soar. Every option, from the burritos to the desserts, is incredibly delicious, fresh, and hot. You'll find yourself pausing whatever you're doing or saying just to savor the amazing flavors dancing on your palate. With exceptional service, outstanding food, and very affordable prices, this place truly embodies a 5-star hidden gem for Mexican food without breaking the bank. I will definitely be returning again and again. I give this place 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend it as a must-visit if you’re in Ypsilanti!
The steak burrito was delicious and generous enough to serve two people. I enjoyed half for lunch and saved the other half for dinner. The beef tacos were also quite tasty. The young man who took our orders was a pleasure to work with.
The staff are friendly, and this place feels like a hidden gem. They offer more vegetarian options than are listed on the menu, so it's a good idea to call and inquire about them! However, the rice could use improvement as it was a bit bland. The churros, on the other hand, seem to be freshly made.
Tofu is the sole vegan protein choice available. However, they make it quite simple to place an order without cheese.
A bunch of things can be made vegan with tofu and no dairy products. Always my favorite place to go when in Ypsi! Updated from previous review on 2021-09-04
