I have the Harimasa role for my entrée. Also drink the smoked trout diving for our appetizer and ice tea. I thought the food was very fresh. The atmosphere was a little louder than I wanted. Service was great. The food came out very quickly. View all feedback.

this is a more beautiful restaurant where they pay $18 for a sandwich and $6 for a side of fries, so I had some expectation that the server know about all kinds of living resources, and they would receive when it came to relocations and changing order. our server was uncertain about vegan food, and only name 1 dish could make them vegan. I asked if they could make a veggie sandwich with another brot, as the one she h... View all feedback.
Dined in and have ordered to-go here many times. Everything's always good! Service is good. Property is gorgeous, classy, and chic. They also have a patio and outdoor bar, fire pits w/ seating. They have something for everyone here. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, sushi, meatballs, good carrot cake. Love getting their pizzas, salad, and sushi to go. The sushi isn't authentic but I love it so much! Additionally love: steak noodle salad, macadamia nut sushi roll, mushroom corn pizza, The Newporter salad, the burger, the fries! The meatballs with polenta were good too. Prices aren't bad for Napa, considering the quality of taste and ambiance! Some things I do feel are a bit overpriced for the size but hey, that's just Napa prices. TLDR: Good overall, they have something for everyone, beautiful spot. I always love coming here. Would go back and would recommend.
What drew us to the R+D Kitchen were dishes that represented a fusion of various cuisines that includes sushi, Pan Asian noodle salad, and a crispy chicken sandwich. On a Saturday afternoon, we entered the restaurant around 12:30pm as it began filling up with patrons and the tempo of service was beginning to pick up. We were warmly greeted and seated. We ordered the Nuevo Cubano Sandwich $20), Newporter Salad $25), Pan Asian Salad with pork $30), Crispy Chicken Sandwich $21), and a few orders of the Hand Cut French Fries $7). The overall quality of the food was above average, and the portions were small. The service was good and several servers came by to provide water, deliver our orders and take our plates away. The ambiance was casual with a healthy din of conversation in a modern rustic interior. As a side note, there was outdoor patio seating for patrons who wanted to enjoy their meal in the pleasant Yountville climate. Food 3 Service 4 Ambiance 4
I can't believe that I've never reviewed this spot!! I don't get to Yountville too often but this spot is always in my plan when I do. The menu is broad but offers such delicious bites that it can please a crowd. I actually really love the creative sushi rolls, I get at least one every time. Not the traditional flavors you see literally everywhere else so it's a refreshing option. Their kale salad is another dish I get almost every time. The peanut dressing is everything I want it to be and more. This last trip we got it with the sashimi and while it was delicious, I would probably just get the salad without the fish next time so I get more salad! Lol Fried chicken sandwiches I think were what originally brought me out here but I keep coming back because the food is consistently delicious. Great corner location, parking lot can be tricky but street parking nearby is accessible.
Finally tried r and d kitchen (I frequent the Rutherford grill and the hillstone in sf). I will definitely be returning to r and d ! Service was great, our waitress Jessica was awesome. The food was excellent and u may start going here more often because prices are a little more reasonable. We had deviled eggs to start and then I had the meatloaf which was amazing. We brought our own wine. I loved the ambiance and vibe. Great visit!
Got seated outside right away. They only allow 3 people per table so we had 3 tables. It's a super cute spot to have a quick little lunch before heading out in our way. The dip duo was so good and tastes really fresh, the sandwich was delicious and cut into 3 so we could share, and the fries were crispy with tasty dipping sauces.
