I enjoy Common Goods, but the interior is always chilly, making it difficult to feel relaxed and cozy or to focus if you come to study. The coffee and food are excellent, but the atmosphere is not very cozy for a coffee shop. View all feedback.
What Dean Thompson doesn't like about Common Goods Studio:
Not a family friendly place and it has bad service.I 've been here twice and both times there has been a line of people to be served while a single person waits on the customer then proceeds to make the drink order, meanwhile the other worker has her back to the order line and is emoting with someone at the counter about comfort zones and safe spaces or something. When you 're standing in line you get to be treated by... We visited this restaurant about a year ago to use a gift card we had received, but were told upon arrival that their gift card machine was not working. A year later, we attempted to call ahead to ensure the machine was functioning, but no one answered the phone. Despite conflicting closing times on Google and their website, we arrived at 4:45pm to find the restaurant completely dark. Unfortunately, our experience with this place has been disappointing.
The restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance of my house. The only thing I would suggest is for them to extend their hours, but other than that, I think it's pretty cool.

We went to this restaurant for breakfast and absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. The layout of the restaurant is charming, very clean, trendy, and has a cozy, artisanal vibe. They also sell merchandise, art, candles, jewelry, and more. My children were thrilled with the board games available for customers. All of the food options were vegan. The fluffy French toast was fantastic (my kids were practically licking their plates clean), the Belgian waffles were authentic (my husband, who is from Belgium, gave his approval), and the avocado toast was simple and delicious. I enjoyed a tasty chai tea that was made in-house. The other adults in my group ordered lattes and chai with boba. Additionally, they offer reward points with each purchase, which we appreciated. We will definitely be returning! Furthermore, two of our guests were not vegan but enjoyed the restaurant so much that they plan on bringing their families back in the future.
Not only do they cater to vegans, but they also offer a variety of gluten-free options. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is friendly. Even non-vegans are supportive of the movement. They stick to classic menu items like Spinach and Artichoke Dip and Mac and Cheese, which are always delicious. Overall, the food is fantastic!
