Stephs Diner - Yorktown

No longer a burger place, it is now a Mexican restaurant. Was filthy inside, tables were not cleaned off. One employee or the owner but he speaks very poor English. Place smells of grease.

Excellent customer service. We were there after the official breakfast hours, but they offered to make us breakfast! Food was delicious- esp the sausage! Would def recommend

Listen: diner food isn't generally complicated. But it's definitely still possible to screw up a simple menu. Not these guys, though! They knocked it put of the park. From a great attitude when I walked in, friendly and thoughtful service, to speedy fulfillment of my order, they were great. The food was all fantastic. I got the breakfast platter, and everything in it was awesome. The eggs were cooked correctly, the bacon was thick and has a great smoky flavor, and the grits were tasty. I wish I had taken a picture, but I ate it all too quickly!

Great little place. Owner really cares. More people should seek it out for good food cooked to order and good service.

Just happened upon this diner and am happy to have found another restaurant that does breakfast all day. I appreciate the idea to be affordable but that should absolutely include the cost to serve quality food, make a profit and pay your employees a livable wage. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese toast sandwich and I actually had to order another bacon and egg breakfast to add to it to make it worth eating. Just raise the price and make a good sandwich please. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. I ordered delivery to not have to cook or prepare a meal. I shouldn't have had to piece it together like I did. Also I ordered the same thing yesterday and it was a fried egg in my meal, today it was a poorly done scrambled one. Do better... please and thank you.
