Denny's - York County

The waitress was slow as a turtle. We sat for 15-20 minutes before we saw our waitress. We ordered our food when we told the waitress what we wanted to drink. We sat for another 50 minutes before we got our food. Our food was terrible!!!!!!! Food was barely warm, grits were lumpy and cold. The eggs were cooked to death, the cook must have scrambled them for about an hour. You could have busted a car window with the hard eggs. Bacon was half raw, everything was awful. We had to sit for a few more minutes waiting for our ticket, we finally got up and went to check out. I could maybe understand it taking so long to get our food if we were a large party, but it was only my husband and myself. At checkout, our bill was $37 after our AARP discount. Will NEVER go back there. Denny's is a waste of time and money.

Tammy and Lynne were my servers. Great job! They saved my opinion of Dennys. Please go back to the older menu. Maybe put some local fare on the menu.

Only five other tables with customers yet it took nearly half an hour to get mediocre food.

Young waitress didn't seem interested in being a waitress. Food came out wrong and BAD. I don't like complaining about food and I'm not a picky eater but I asked another waitress if I could just pay for my tea and leave and it was just hashbrowns, toast and eggs. Hashbrowns were more like a mushy paste, over medium eggs were fully fried into one big overcooked egg patty and even the toast was wrong. The toast. Let that sink in. Maybe they were just having an off day. Other customers were leaving as well and the other waitress seemed like she fully understood.
