Wild Wings - York

It started off with service being very poor and never got much better. 4 of us arrived to get a table for ourselves and tables nearby for others to join us. 4 of us were seated promptly and told by the waitress that she would bring menus and get drink orders right away. That certainly didn't happen quickly. We had to flag her down a few times and she made excuses saying she was busy. Why did she make a promise to serve us soon? We ordered beers each and they took far too long to arrive. We thought we'd better get food orders in quickly and had to flag her down and then ask someone else to have her see us to place a food order. They had some special on but said you could only get it if you order a beer with it. Previous orders didn't qualify. WHAT??? Finally got orders placed and again it took longer than expected. The food was very average and we didn't finish what was ordered.

My family just left this location,although the service was ok, having to flag down the waitress several times to order another drink etc., we paid with standard tip. Then we noticed the bill was more than the menu,each entree was charged more, a few dollars, so we asked the waitress. Her response was that the prices went up. Since we ordered? I asked to speak to the manager, 5 minutes later I had to go get her as she was playing with the tv and never came back. Then she explained there wasn't a manager so I asked they get the owner on the phone. Finally they reached Imran Syed who confirmed there was no manager but this was a head office problem but he would refund us 50 cents. I suspect there is a law advertising a price on a menu then charging a higher price and not even offering to refund the difference. Criminals.

So many choices, so little time to try them all. Good wings, good service, clean restaurant. Worth a visit, best on 1/2 price Tuesday.

My server was fast and efficient. The wings and dessert were amazing. Good experience and great atmosphere - awesome that they offer halal wings and burgers if you have dietary restrictions!

I can't say much about the dine in.Had takeout from here for Saturday lunch. The girl on the phone was very hard to deal with. She took my order but did not ask any additional questions (sauce on side, on top, type of dressing, etc). I had to remind her to put vegetables in with the orders and ranch/blue cheese. The wings were delicious. I got the spicy gar par. I would definitely order them again. The fries were great as well. The front door is kind of hard to distinguish. I walked in through the door that lead to the storage area. It was unlocked. Then I realized that the door to get in is through the patio. This needs to be clearly outlined.
