What microshellie doesn't like about Spring China House:
Tried this establishment, for takeout, as because of covid, they have only takeout. Boring, prices hiked, person answering phone is hyper and doesn't seem to be able to hear you....dude, if you have a portable phone, walk away from the noisy kitchen area, so you can hear your customers. Had eggrolls, (frozen, standard, smaller), overdone, pad thai, mushy texture, overcooked. Beef with broccoli View all feedback.
2017/01/12<br/ I was in the neighbourhood at dinner time, looking for something relatively quick, and I saw that Spring China House had some combo meals for one, as part of their regular menu, posted on their window. It is a moderately small restaurant, with seating for maybe 20 people. There was one lady having a glass of wine, and I was the only diner. There were a few people who came in to pick up their takeout orders while I ate. <br/ <br/ I chose item #204, which was a combo with an Egg Roll, Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein, and Breaded Shrimp for $9.95. The egg roll was served first, with a small dish of plumb sauce. The filling was mostly bean sprouts. A hot and tasty way to start the meal. Then a plate was brought with a heaping portion of the remaining items. The chow mein tasted and felt like they were freshly stir fried. The sprouts had some crunch, and the chicken was tender. I felt that the breading on the shrimp was a bit heavy. It did not come with any sauce, which I thought was a bit odd, but then the server brought a small dish of sweat and sour sauce. Without me prompting, he said the dish does not come wii sauce, but that he brought it just for me. I guess I must be special. : <br/ <br/ So all in all, a nice meal. Better than a food court, and nice service.
The owners are very rude and they treat people like garbage over phone.
We were told the food would be delivered in 35/40 mins .. it was 1 hour and 10 minutes.. they couldn't care when i called to ask where it was .. and it was stone cold.. never again .. wasn't worth $77
First time ordering take away from this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised how good the dishes were. Vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. The chicken, duck and pork were delicious. Items were packed well and the woman was pleasant and kind. We shall return!
