Although the service was fast and courteous it could not make up for the quality and inauthenticity of the food. The dishes received did not match the description on the menu. The rice was greasy and the meat (both the chicken and the beef) was so dry that I’m convinced it must have been cooked at least the day before. The sauces were also very underwhelming, garlic sauce tasted like pickle juice and the hot sauce is probably franks red hot. Couldn’t finish my food and had to throw out my left overs. My husband brought home the mixe... read more I recently had the pleasure of trying takeout from Mevan Restaurant on Eglinton Ave West, and I have to say, it was incredible! My husband brought home the mixed grill, and every dish was packed with flavour. The bulgur wheat and meat were absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned and full of depth. We got to try a variety of items, and everything was cooked to perfection. It’s clear that Mevan takes great care in preparing their food. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to for more!
