Very efficient service, friendly staff, ample parking for the size of restaurant. Decided to have the shoyu ramen noodle soup, very nice broth, garnished with nori, slice of pork, slice of chicken, spinach & a perfect half of an egg. A few ramen choices, some appetizers such as shrimp tempura or gyoza, a donburi rice bowl. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kyouka Ramen:
I went there on the weekend for lunch. The taste is ok, and soup is just ok. It is chicken broth which is a different from many other places that I went. Usually I finish the broth at other places but not this place, it is like chicken broth with garlic in it. Weird. Something that I cook better at home. The portion of the toppings on the noodles are sooooo little. You get like 2 thin slices of meat and 1/2 eggs and... View all feedback.
Their service was bad. I came in during heavy rainfall, so my unbearable was dripping. I hanged it on the edge of my table which I was in the middle of the restaurant, the server quickly brought a garbage can from inside to the entrance. She walked pass me and not even offered me to put my umbrella into it. Rest of the time there, service just ok. Food: first time I have Ramen with chicken broth, went to Sapporo, Hakodate and Japan, soup base from pork is standard for Ramen. The soup taste not even chicken but say sauce with garlic. Now the half soft boiled egg, the yolk was running but COLD. Never have running yolk cold in Ramen, at least minimum at room temp, this is NOT acceptable. The two tiny pieces of meat - chicken and pork. They all tasted like BOILED in soy sauce and taste the SAME. Last the noodles, no wow.Wasted my $13, disappointed and will never come back.

Walked in and were the only non Asian customers. Had a hard time deciding on the short menu as all looked good. I went fully loaded and that is double toppings. Worth it! Picked up two sides, ginger chicken and beef tendon. Ginger chicken was insanely good, beef parts amazing warm but not as enjoyable when it cooled off. I would gladly go back
Price is kinda over, and taste I will give average. Don't know why so packed during lunch time. Maybe there is no too many choice around ...
The Kyouka Ramen had edible kelp stock, daily chicken and pork broth, aromatic sesame oil, green chives, bean sprouts, pork and chicken chashu, egg, naruto fish cake, wood ear mushroom, and chili paste (mild or spicy or fire [+$0.50]). I chose the “less fat” version of the soup and the “mild” chili paste.I honestly didn’t like the Kyouka Ramen. I thought that the broth was too oily and the ramen noodles’ texture was soft and not firm enough. I didn’t think that the addition of bean sprouts and leeks into the ramen made it a very authentic experience although they claim to be an authentic ramen shop.We took our time dining in and I noticed that two tables down, one party had been waiting for their food for a long time but it didn’t still arrive yet. While we were there, there were also some customers waiting for a table too. The restaurant was very packed!
