Despite some initial service hiccups, the food impresses with flavorful dishes like ox tongue, beef sashimi, and purple rice sushi rolls. The cozy interior and attentive staff make for a pleasant dining experience, with standout dishes including the Nagasaki Chanpon and Tsuki Roll. While some minor issues with temperature and softness of noodles were noted, overall, Izakaya Tsuki offers a diverse menu with delicious options for those seeking a unique Asian dining experience. An ideal spot for a late-night dinner or to indulge in sushi and other izakaya delights.
I loved the interior design of the place! The sushi chefs were positioned on a higher platform so as to be able to oversee all the customers, it looked
The lighting is so bright that I feel like a celebrity eating izakayaWay too many pot lights and they gave me a headache.
It is one of my family's favourite Japanese restaurant as there are lots of mini dishes that we can choose. Our favourites are the grilled ox tongue and beef sashimi. The sushi is always fresh with purple rice instead of white rice.
I was there later an evening hunting for a nice asian/japanese style soup.Waiters very friendly and attentive, no issues here and the menue is plentyful and covering a lot of different asian style dishes. The soup I ordered had a broth with a really nice and authentic taste, including a nice input of meat slices and some veggies. However the ramen noodles were still not completely soft and cooked, so I needed to wait until tender which made the soup cool down a bit more. However, the taste was still very nice and the amount was really satisfying. All in all a slight spot on the overall performance, but I would go there again.
Our dinner experience was very good. We had the whole place to ourselves till later on in the evening it was quite busy. The food was excellent and the Sapporo was nice and cold! I really wished they had Lichee Martini's available and Japanese Fried Rice. Next time I am in the neighbourhood and have a craving for Sushi....I will be back!
