We have been here a couple of times this last year and have always found it to be good. This time was no exception. The lamb rogan josh was absolutely first class. We also enjoyed the chicken biryiani and the prawn masala. Prices are reasonable, being noticeably less that Ambyan in Unionville. On the downside the place is beginning to show its age with scuffed tables and chairs. Also the service was pretty amateurish... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dum Pukht:
Pricey Food, Very Small Portion, Below Average taste of an authentic Indian cuisine. Dum pukt biryani tasted like masala rice that we get on Air india flights Horrible service, had to wait for 1 hour 20 minutes for food to arrive. Manager Lady with glasses very rude. Not meant to be a manager or even a waiter. No customer service skills what so ever. Only thing nice about this place was the ambiance. Spoiled our even... View all feedback.
I order for picking up ubereats the whole product is wrong. order them tandoori mushroom, reis got parantha. and reis is half box. and I sweat to gott prantha was so stinking or bad smelling that someone would throw up. I've never been served so badly in my life. I say it cuddly, I know they'll do it hard when I get there. the type doesn't even know if there was any mess. don't waste time and money.
Excellent eating with great service, especially the server called ali, very polite and friendly. will definitely be back to visit.
I was so impressed by the ambiente, service and eating in you pukht! the restaurant looks and feels so modern and eating is incredible. the butter chicken, the butter/garlic naans and the dum pukht biryani were the best I have tasted so far! I would recommend trying this place if they were looking for a delicious Indian restaurant.
The host mohammed ali welcomed immediately when I came to the restaurant and wanted to take only a moment to complicate the service I received from ali. I must say I enjoyed every bite of the meal in you. I had garlauch naan and malai kofta.Klauch naan was so soft and perfect for the mopping-up curry and malai kofta was so tasteful, balanced and satisfied my palate. in consideration of quality, the price is appropriate. I'm so happy to have this place just a few minutes away from home. a repeater will be defined.
Went here really looking forward to the ambiance however we were really disappointed with the cleanliness of the space. We went for Friday lunch and there was only one group at the restaurant other than us. Server told us we can choose to sit wherever we’d like but that wasn’t an easy experience. All the booths had some of debris looking like it’s never had a vacuuming done or they had odd white stains everywhere. The chairs were the same, some had full on dried curry stuck to the seats. In a COVID world, this felt unacceptable. We tried our best to find chairs that were fairly clean but we felt quite uncomfortable with that initial experience already.Service was great, our waiter was very attentive and was very honest about the portions. He also kept asking if everything was good and okay.Food came quickly but was okay and quite overpriced given the place isn’t maintained well. We ordered the Dum Phukt Lamb Biryani, Garlic Naan and the Butter Chicken. We felt something was missing in the flavour. Dishes were very colourful but the flavour wasn’t matching the visuals.Overall I wouldn’t ever be returning back given the lack of attention the restaurant places on cleanliness.
