Daybreak Breakfast Restaurant - York

The restaurant was very crowded today because of Family Day, and there was only one waitress, Lisa, working. She did an excellent job efficiently handling all the tables, and everyone was understanding of the situation. The food was average for me - nothing outstanding, but nothing terrible either. My husband loved his English omelet, and I had 3 eggs with bacon. One issue I noticed was the ventilation - I could smell something burnt when I entered and while eating. The stove was located in front of the seating area, and the toaster was constantly on, which may have contributed to the smell. Despite this, I could hear the fan running to improve air circulation.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had the pleasure of being served by the best waitress, Marilyn! She consistently kept my coffee topped up and the service was fast and efficient. I will definitely be returning when I'm passing through again. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.

Always a great choice. The staff at this particular one are simply exceptional. Friendly, fast and make you feel at home right away. Great experience.

Pretty good little breakfast spot. The ladies that work here are incredibly nice and very quick as well. The food is good with pretty large portions.

First time at this location and like so much better than the one at Yonge and Mulock. Quick service..very efficient...will be definitely coming back.
