City Hollywood Cafe - York

20 deep fried chicken wings for $16.99, I got the Hong Kong style wings, they were beyond amazing! Panda Milk tea bubble tea was good too.

This review if for Café Hollywood, same owner as City Hollywood (market village). I have been to Cafe Hollywood few times already through the year, food never improve and taste horrible here: bitter taste curry, rubber beef ribs, hard rock steak, glue like sauce, cream can soup and more.... If you don't specify, they will serve you tea/coffee even before soup, but the servers never ask you if you want tea/coffee to be served after meal. Poor service, poor food. Don't come.

This restaurant/cafe is located just outside of Market Village. They offer a variety of food and all meals. They even have an afternoon tea and evening snack menu offerings. Don't expect to come here and get magnificent service and fine dining, this is a simple HK style cafe. My Mom and I enjoy coming here for quick meals. We enjoyed their afternoon tea the other day, fish ball noodles and fried chicken wings. Simple, quick, tasty. The chicken wings do not come with fries, so if you add it, it will cost you $1.00 more. The noodles were a very good portion and super delicious with the chili oil. Cold drinks are an extra $1, and note that their glasses are smaller than the average expect cold drinks from other cafes. I would definitely return. They also opened the same restaurant literally in the plaza across the street. That location is newer and offers a different drinks menu.

Food was bland and is just like every other westernized Chinese cafe. Nothing too special or yummy . service isn't that great either. We are usually waiting around for about 20 min just to order food.

Menu has changed in recent years. Prices have went a bit higher and portions a bit smaller. Typical HK style restaurant with average quality food. Open late so a good choice when you are hungry at night and want to cheap HK style food.
