One night while in town on the store. Sally's service at the bar was excellent! There are so many flavors that it was difficult to decide... she made room for suggestions. The wings were cooked to perfection and delicious. The beer was... very delicious and cold... I had a Creemore on tap. Excellent experience. View all feedback.
What Derek Price doesn't like about Allstar Wings & Ribs:
There was 2 lady’s working and both are rude and very unfriendly. Like I get you have a bad day working and feeling pressure to talk to dudes for tips but be a little more welcoming. Every single time I go is the same treatment....Ain’t going there anymore. Smh! girls need more training View all feedback.
I come here alone or with a couple of buddies for their massive selection of wing flavours and nice cold beers. Favourite yet so far is the Suicide and Neros epilogue, both very spicy and nice flavours. There is about 200 or more flavours and they are all very good, I have yet to try the rest, but good spot if you are looking for beers, wings and sports.
I really enjoyed the AllStar Nachos and it hit the spot in terms of my craving. These were freshly prepared nacho chips topped with 1/2 lb. of cheese, diced tomato, jalapeños, and shallots. It was served with salsa and sour cream. (For four dollars, we also added a serving of 100% ground beef chili to it.) The cheese was so good — chewy and stringy while the jalapeños were just spicy to give a kick. We devoured this and despite its gigantic size, finished it with just three pieces left. It was truly comfort food at its best. The Pineapple Curry wings smelled of pineapple and curry for sure. The Maple Thai wings tasted very similar to honey garlic wings. The wings came with a few stalks of celery and ranch dip. The wings were all right; I thought they were a tiny tad on the dry side. The service here was good. Even though it was just that one server manning the entire dining room floor, she came by often enough to check on us and was attentive to any requests we had.
I don't love wings, I like them. I don't think a 1lb plate of wings is a meal and I don't think of fries as an appetizer. This place does. If this is your thing, by all means try this place. Some helpful tips if you plan to order wings. They have a huge menu, and none of it is explained. You'll have to ask your waitress. In case this helps, if you like buffalo wings then order 'American' wings. On the other hand the 'Canadian' wings seem to be a hodgepodge of sauces which include honey/teriyaki and one other which I fail to remember. If you like a little heat, don't order anything less than a level 3 on the menu. If you like more heat go for level 4/5. They also have dry rub wings which I don't like as they taste very plain. Things I like the best about this place: American wings and fries with gravy. Things I like the least about this place: location (plaza) and dry rub wings. (Note: a 1lb single order of wings is about 8 wings.)
Not bad for an independent place. Service was fine. What rates a high mark is the creativity of the menu for those who like it very hot.
Party of 11, with reservations. Service was slow, there seemed to be only one server and she was backing the bar as well as waiting tables. After 15 minutes of being ignored, we all finally ordered. An hour later, we had no food. Complaints ensued. Some of us got our food. It was cold! Waited an hour for cold food.More complaints, we were told only one cook was in. Food went back to be replaced with hot food. More food came out, a bit warmer. Some was ok, some went back. Eventually, replacement food came out that was at a reasonable temperature. This place has done good food in the past but today they were seriously off their game. Even with only one cook and one waitress, they should have done better. Other than our party, there were only four other customers in the place.Next time we'll choose better.
