Was Anonym at Albertini a mag?

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Albertini. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me warmly. Despite it being a chilly Monday evening, the restaurant was quite busy, which suggested there were plenty of regulars and locals dining. I started with a baked aubergine, mozzarella, and tomato starter, which I really liked. For the main course, I chose a Napolitana pizza that was well-balanced, with just the right amount of anchovies, capers, and olives. My side of mixed grilled vegetables was expertly prepared, featuring attractive char marks and thoughtful details like the way the courgette was sliced. I appreciated the inclusion of aubergine, which paired nicely with the peppers. Unfortunately, the vegetables cooled quickly, perhaps the kitchen could keep sides warm in the oven or under the grill while finishing the pizza. On a positive note, my glass of Negroamaro Salento wine was absolutely delightful. To finish, I had a vegan chocolate tart—often a gamble, but this one was rich, delicious, and easily the highlight of the meal. I’m looking forward to visiting this charming restaurant again.

Albertini is just a short walk from the British Library and offers a spacious, air-conditioned interior—perfect during the heat wave. The restaurant is clean, and the staff greeted us warmly and seated us immediately. Passing by the kitchen, the delicious aromas made our mouths water. The menu looked fantastic! We decided to share the olive and bread appetizer along with a pizza. Our drinks were refreshingly cool water. The food quality was excellent—fresh and satisfying. The appetizer featured extra virgin olive oil paired with two fresh slices of bread and a generous serving of olives. The pizza was topped with fresh mozzarella, artichokes, red peppers, and a touch of spice, all balanced perfectly. We ordered two pizzas but couldn’t finish them. For dessert, we shared a chic hazelnut and chocolate ice cream from the top of the menu. It was lunchtime after 1 PM, and a few other diners were there as well. Overall, we were very happy with the ambiance, the food, the quiet street, and the great location!

Short walk from euston station, the gnocchi i had was well cooked with great flavours. staff was attentive, welcoming and experienced. However, the heavily remixed pop music was loud and obnoxious, a poor match for an otherwise pleasant interior. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
