Me and my little boy stopped in for dinner on the way back home on a Monday. The pub us in a nice little village and the interior very clean and refreshing. Welcoming staff whom were eager to help and the food was very tasty at a reasonable price. View all feedback.
What danny402 doesn't like about Tiger Inn:
Sat here in the restaurant having lovely food but it’s so loud I cannot speak to my partner as it’s so noisy plus we have a screaming child on the next table (it would also be noisy without the child). Have eaten here before but always in the bar but would certainly not sit in the restaurant again as it spoilt the lunch View all feedback.
Had lunch here at 12:00 on a Tuesday. Interesting menu. The french onion soup was outstanding and teh fish pancake was delicious something I never had before. They do classic stuff here like steaks, pies and burgers but the little twists on the menu are refreshing. Food was high quality, very easy. Beers on pump were Timothy Taylors and Theakston's best. Staff were wonderfully kind. Will be coming back.
Have been here a couple of times and everytime we have been we have thought that the staff were slow and a tad rude. Ended up walking out once as we were sitting at the bar waiting to be seated, we had booked a table, waited a good half an hour and still nobody had come to seat us of even offer a drink. Bad service here and wont be returning
I love this restaurant,,its 45 mins away at least from where i live so would go more often if it wasnt quite so far away, always lovely food, had the early bird menu, really good price 2 courses for £12.95,was so torn with the new menu but had the pate again,it was lovely as usual, had the crispy breast of lamb and enjoyed every bit of it,dont ususaly go on a saturday so wasnt sure about how busy they were so reserved a table, glad i did it was packed, people waiting for a table, the staff here are lovely, different people on a sat can only remember robs name, there was a blonde lady with a ponytail i think she was the manager not sure very nice always smiled and pleasant? and a young lady with glasses who was lovely too, nice to meet other staff, can honestly say your made to feel welcome and nothing too much trouble,a lovely pub with lovely staff in a lovely quiet little village, beautiful place :
Did not book ahead. Receptionist scrutinised the booking in log decided we could use any table in the back room. Meal was okay except we had a long wait for our courses considering there was no one else in the back room besides us. Luckily we were with good friends and had plenty to chat about. Would call again if I had time on my hands.
