We had a fantastic meal at a great value of £20 for two courses, a glass of wine, and coffee. The only downside was that the restaurant was very quiet, lacking atmosphere. This may have been due to the Yorker Eating and Wine Festival happening nearby. We heard that the evenings are busier, but unfortunately, we couldn't book a table for dinner earlier in the week. We stopped after reading the reviews at midday. they served tapas style. not to know what to expect, we have ordered several teller as well.
Will definitely return. everything about the rattle owl is perfected. from ambiente (convenient, relaxed and yet aspiring) to eat.
We had a nice, agricultural dinner in the rattle owl in our first night in york. since we like to eat early anyway, we could benefit from it.

Sunday lunch very nice. was the star. had the braided lamb, which was rather tasteless disappointed. absolutely no fat in it so likely very healthy but. next time will have the meat. service good and people very nice.
