What Matilda Ross doesn't like about The Hotham Arms:
Was really looking forward to Sunday lunch here, and all the whole found it just about average. Starters, scallops and fish platter. Fish platter was the better of the no cooking required just selection of smoked fish and fruit. Scallops small and perhaps...frozen as didn’t taste fresh. Mains, beefs was probs the pick of the choice on our table, the roast potatoes were more like boiled in appearance. Mixed vegetables... View all feedback. What Maisie Morris likes about The Hotham Arms:
We ate in here as couples. The restaurant was quiet but felt cosy and warm with a roaring log open fire. Staff were friendly and attentive. No starters but different mains . were excellent but the sirloin steak a big slice...of meat was tough and chewy and a lot was left on the plate. All portions were of a good size and piping hot . of us had sweets which were a real treat, sticky toffee pudding and homemade bramble... View all feedback.

read moreThe Hotham Arms is a cozy pub with a warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. While some diners found the lunch menu disappointing due to limited choices, others enjoyed the Sunday roast immensely. The homemade dishes, especially the crumble and sticky toffee pudding, received high praise. Despite some inconsistencies in quality, the overall dining experience was positive. With a price range of £10 to £30 per person, the restaurant offers great value for money. The unique outdoor seating, efficient service, and traditional charm make the Hotham Arms a recommended dining destination for those seeking a cozy and satisfying meal.
Went for Sunday lunch, was superb. Great staff, and good atmosphere.
