Fantastic food! Fish and chips were the best we had tasted! All staff so friendly and Kelly was amazing and so friendly, loved our dog Bella and give her a free sausage: Thanks again Kelly, you made our stay in York a great one! I look forward to coming back right soon.

Beautiful fish, cod, squid and much more. but, don’t expect to buy a steak and nierenkuchen here. very friendly staff. they even opened the hottest day of the year, at 39 degrees.

Great fish and chips, friendly, busy service. Good packaging of Jumbo Haddock was perfectly cooked and remained crispy after a 10 minute walk home. Salt and pepper also spray well. Chinese curry sauce was pretty fast too thick at eating, but they have two alternative curry sauce types that we'll try next time!

No scraps which are my favourite and didn't offer to make me any whilst cooking my battered jumbo like the previous cheeky fryer (Janet Street-Porter) who thinks I look like 72 year old Alan Titchmarsh. They don't do small portions of Peas nor Large Portions of Chips but always enjoy my meal from here. (Visited 3rd March 2022)
