My daughter and I got her son in his fresher sleep at the university of york and wandered around the neighborhood, hoping to find something to eat. we stopped at the deramore arms restaurant and pub, which in a neighboring was only a stone's throw away from university and it was lovely! there is a pub and dining corner as they enter and also a wonderful outdoor court, a very friendly and gracious server. the court was intimate, but open and spacious and the meal was amazing, with the frying and sweet beautiful made! and the meal was started with the most awesome cauliflower suppe we both fell in love. I sent the restaurant owner by e-mail and asked for the recipe (if it was not a family secret), when I returned to los angeles, California, because I wanted to share it with family and friends. we could no longer be thrilled to have found this restaurant and pub so close to the university and we will definitely stop at the deramore arms when we are in york again. This is our local and we have taken the lawsuits here for a Sunday dinner that is now in the retirement of the ex-hoteliers. they enjoy good eating and a relaxed atmosphere, and it got their quality seal. it is reasonable eating for a reasonable price. they praised above all the staff for their cordial greeting and also their pleasure after some entertainment from another who clearly missed that the deramore is a country pub that serves food, no restaurant that serves alcohol! if they are a party for a event ', put their expectations. especially if they have the feeling that the staff has an unacceptable attitude." we did not stay for the scary of the table, but we had a good reminder to the insidious about their difficult customers in the run of the years on the way back. overall a delightful Sunday afternoon with some free entertainment, which is not to like!
