What Christopher Cox doesn't like about Sonali:
The curry's themselves were only ok, my vindaloo didn't have the potato that vindaloos should have in. And they used tinned mushrooms, for any restaurant to use tinned mushrooms is poor. Especially if you are a vegetarian. View all feedback. What Suzanne Thompson likes about Sonali:
I enjoyed my visit very much. I had a phall that was very hot! (as it should be) the portions were great, amazing pickle tablet that would have fed a family. everything was fresh and delicious. personal very friendly and knowledgeable about allergens. there was in the position to help me with gluten free immediately, but the menu made me aware that there would be a CC risk large visit. The Sonali restaurant offers a mixed dining experience, with some customers finding the curry dishes only average while others laud the food as exceptional. The service is generally praised, with specific shout outs to the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Some patrons were deterred by misleading menu prices and a mandatory service charge. However, the overall consensus is positive, highlighting the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere as reasons to visit this establishment. Prices range from £20 to £50 per person, making it a fairly affordable dining option for those looking for good Indian cuisine in Pocklington.
