We stopped by to grab a beer and ended up having the best fried chicken I've ever tasted. Clucking Oink served us some crispy buttermilk fried chicken strips, and the rosemary, thyme, and garlic chips were incredible—exactly what we didn't know we needed in our lives. Visited yesterday and absolutely loved the atmosphere. It was very relaxed and chilled, and with the big tables everyone was sat together mingling and having a great time! Living five minutes walk away, I can definitely see this place becoming a regular.

I have been waiting for this place to open for the old, and it has not disappointed! there is a great selection of food, drinks and shops and a brilliant atmosphere: this will be a regular stop for me!
We love going to toddler time run by the YNC York Nurturing Community, so welcoming and a great space for the little ones to run or crawl around in. Like the little touches of a step and mini seat in the toilet. The food at the YNC kitchen is amazing- I've had loaded fries, curry and soup which were delicious, and the sourdough toasties look amazing. Hot food is Pay As You Feel which is a great idea. Fab atmosphere all round, everyone really friendly.
