Went for a 10 year anniversary meal with my wife to Rice Style, and we both agreed that it was possibly the nicest food we’ve ever had. Service was excellent and unassuming and the ambience was just right. Highly recommended, particularly if you are vegetarian or gluten-free, like me. View all feedback.
What Péter K doesn't like about Rice Style:
Nice atmosphere, but food let it down. I really like Thai food, and before you go here it's worth that this is fusion. Normally, I don't mind a twist but in this case those twists made the dishes objectively worse. Cooked well, just not impressed with the flavor combinations the original dishes are better. We had high expectations, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The stir-fry was nothing like I had many times in the past, and I forced myself to eat it. It looked like the vegetables were bought in a supermarket. It wasn't tasty
A family meal whilst staying in York. Excellent meal, beautifully presented and very tasty. Would certainly recommend eating here
Same company as Khao San Road.The food is great, the car park is very close, and Bishy Rd is a fantastic part of the city to see.The lunchtime deal is good value.
Another good place on Bishopthorpe Road? This lovely little street has come a long way in the past few years!__Above said, the review is for Rice Style
