I and my son went to york to celebrate the weeping party and after my previous accommodation cancelled, I found this hospitable and I am so happy that we were here. the breakfast was super tasty and full, the room was very clean and comfortable and we even had tee, coffee and biscuits in our rooms, really nice place to come back after running around york all day. the lady who looked after us was really nice and we fe... Stayed for 2 nights room was nice and clean very comfy bed and a nice private garden were we had a couple of drinks before our evening meal which was lovely steak was cooked to perfection friendly staff also we will definitely return View all feedback.
This charming family-owned pub and inn offers exceptionally friendly and attentive service, where no request is too much trouble.
The hostess was fantastic and the dining experience was amazing. The burgers were the best we have ever had! We will definitely be back.
The food was fantastic! We stopped at a Britstop and will definitely return. We were served a large plate of turkey roast dinner with five different vegetables, mashed and roasted potatoes on a Monday! The black pudding fritters were also perfect. Thank you once again.
I had Sunday lunch at the restaurant today and the food was absolutely incredible! The meat was cooked perfectly and all the vegetables were delicious. I will definitely be back. The service from Will, Holly, and the team was outstanding as always. Thank you guys!
