Frequent reports highlight issues such as missing items from orders, unappetizing cold food, and poor service. Many patrons describe the restaurant's cleanliness as lacking, with dirty floors and overflowing bins contributing to an unpleasant atmosphere. Staff members appear disinterested, exacerbating customer frustration when orders are ignored or handled poorly. Despite attempts to seek resolution through customer service, the response was inadequate, prompting some to vow never to return. Overall, this establishment needs significant improvements to meet basic expectations of hygiene and service.
Ordered off my app collected in good time . Took outside to eat in car. Ordered extra patty on mc plant burger, sticker on box. No extra patty on burger took back in to rectify. Back at car veg burger stone cold, could not eat thrown in bin. Coca cola sugar free flat and warm. Absolutely disgusting food today and not the first time here. At least all your food should be HOT.
Once again, the food was served cold. I had hoped for a better experience this time. The chips were cold. The barbeque burger was overcooked, cold, and burnt. The only thing worth the £6 I spent was the decent cup of coffee.
I went to McDonald's at Monks Cross and ordered for my whole family. When I went to pay, a guy named Alex, who looked like Sloth from The Goonies, took our order. Unfortunately, most of the food was missing and my kids were upset. I will not be dining here again.
The floors are dirty, there is garbage on every table, the bins are overflowing, and the serving area looks like a stomach bug waiting to happen. The staff seem disinterested. I contacted McDonald's customer service to report the issue, and they responded with two £5 off vouchers for a £5 purchase. I declined the offer. The entire restaurant should be shut down for a thorough cleaning.
Clifton Moor McDonald's you are a disgrace to the brand. Customers cleaning their own tables, rubbish everywhere, cold food and off duty staff stood by the counter playing with their hair where food is being served. I complained about the state of the restaurant to the manager who did nothing to improve the situation. They simply left the front of house cleaner (lady with black curly hair) to try and keep on top of a full restaurant. How disrespectful. The lady could have been the best cleaner in the world and she couldn't have kept up. She was working incredibly hard with no support from her management. (Respect your cleaners, they are one of the most important roles in the restaurant). There is a reason why this restaurant scores so low on trip advisor, its because its lacking leadership, it provides a poor customer experience and their is a lack of caring about the place.
