I had not seen my mother 5 months, so I wanted to organize something special to celebrate that we could see us and her birthday. First noticed my daughter’s coffee cup looked as though someone had drunk coffee out of it, stained brown. Checked my own cup. Red spots just around rim plus brown marks. Though it was in the glaze. Rubbed it. Came off. Had ordered a meal so tried to ignore it but it did put me off. Let us be here. I have a healthy appetit and enjoy a decent back. this place has a wonderful environment and lies right next to a local pond so a beautiful walk and afternoon is a must. when I visited, I ordered a sausage,- speck and eiersandwich, although the food itself was cooked nicely and the sausage was fleshy I can not help but the feeling that it lacks quantities. will I have bought it again? yes, if I wasn't hungry and it just bought as extra. the service was excellent and I was made welcome by the site. they can book a table to avoid disappointment! nice quiet place with workers who care about their customers. would recommend to sit down at midday, but not for a hungry tiger and go workers

I was certainly not disappointed by the Poughman’s afternoon tea of love to eat. the food was excellent and there was so much of it! it was an excellent value for money. my mother and I had been sitting over two, there was so much. the selection of cheese, sink and chutney was really great. the cakes and skorn were very fresh and delicious. I really can't say enough good things about how impressed us both, where the afternoon tea. fiona was so helpful and friendly to arrange everything. I will definitely reorder a receipt from here and I can't expect to visit personally when restrictions have been facilitated.

The food was very good, we both had breakfast sandwiches and we will get them back, we also want to try to eat in the menu, as everything looks so delicious would recommend

Ordered delivery of the afternoon tea for my grandad's birthday. Fiona went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and was really careful about my peanut allergy which I really appreciated. The food was absolutely gorgeous, every aspect was just beautiful. Highly recommend!!
