We visited the restaurant twice on Saturday, once in the morning and again in the evening. Both times it was quite busy, but we were able to find a table. There’s a wide selection of craft beers available, although it's important to note that the 11 taps on each floor feature different options. Fantastic and interesting alcohol. great personal, delicious beer on tap and a curious (good) building. this is a must for anyone who has another beer or ipa other than what they are in their local and bar snacks, the w tasty. no warning of 5 stars....es 10/10 for me
Great spot for a craft beer. Staff are knowledgeable, beers are great and niche. Interior has different rooms with Victorian style decor. Also if it means anything Mad Alice recommended we come here and we definitely thank her for that.
Just brilliant!!! Quirky, incredible selection of ales and tapas but be careful, in Spain tapas size portions need three for a meal here you only need one! So many rooms to choose from and SO many entertaining touches! We’ll be back!
Awesome old building fitted out perfectly. Lost count of the different rooms in the place. I am sure it was on 4 floors! Really beautiful interior. The bar area does food and did feel more like a café than a bar but the staff were lovely. We sat outside in the seated area on Lendal. Perfect for people watching! The wooden benches could be a bit more comfy but I had enough Prosecco not to worry too much about that. Great place to visit in York!
Fantastic quirky craft beer on draft. Very friendly staff. Food was great and very reasonable. Loved both venues in York. Must visit.
