Should be as there were no serviettes to hold your food in. The food was great, friendly staff, great value. There were a few seats at tables but we felt they should have been further apart. View all feedback.

Visited shop in York city centre today for a quick bite to eat and drink as I think Greggs food is great value. I was served by a scruffy unkempt “supervisor” with brown teeth who refused to put cream on my hot chocolate and said...that nobody should have done previously ...lighten up !! The restaurant's service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff members who made the dining experience very enjoyable. The atmosphere was also top-notch, creating a cozy and welcoming environment for guests to relax and enjoy their meal. Overall, the restaurant receives a perfect score in both service and atmosphere.

On weekends (I can't speak for weekdays), this restaurant appears to be understaffed. The line is usually long, which is typical for Greggs, but at this location, it consistently results in a 15-20 minute wait. With a high volume of customers, it would be a good idea to add an extra employee during weekend lunch hours. Service: Takeout Meal type: Lunch
