This Costa location is exactly what you'd expect from the chain - clean, tidy, and well-organized despite being very busy. It may not be perfect when it's extremely busy, but it comes pretty close. The staff consistently collects dirty dishes and the two baristas work tirelessly and efficiently. It's a great spot for a quick drink and snack, maintaining Costa's usual high standard. Have called in a few times on our visits to York as we like to stroll in the Museum Gardens opposite. The coffee and service is ok and the toilet in an acceptable state. View all feedback.
A typical Costa, nothing special at all. Staff very friendly but tables were pretty grotty and uncleared when we arrived for a quick coffee. Service pretty quick to.

First of all, we got told to wait together in a queue rather than one of us sit down and wait? Surely this is more logical rather than taking up more space in a crowed area. We got told to take a step back but there were people behind us so we couldn’t? Not very well organised Second of all, our food came out cold. Got told by the member of staff that a new breakfast wrap would be given to us, where instead they just reheated our old one. Not impressed and won’t be returning.
Been to many Costa around the country unlike the others this was poor service from start to finish. Wouldn't recommend.
Top notch lovely staff great city what's not to like!!!
