I just had two nights in one of the en suite rooms at the lodge here. Very impressed and will come back happy to stay back. My room was very clean, well furnished and beautifully decorated. I had the vegan Sunday roast and it was delicious and filling! The chef was accommodating and made sure to prepare my meal without butter. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about vegan and vegetarian options.
This charming restaurant in Acomb is the perfect spot for a Sunday Carvery. It offers great value for money with plenty of options on tap. Just a heads up, they only serve the Carvery on Sundays.
This restaurant is a delightful place to visit, located just a few miles from York City center. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and we felt very welcome. We will definitely be returning here in the future.

We went to Carlton for Christmas lunch and were totally impressed. My mother uses a wheelchair and there was no problem coming to the table and storing the chair while we ate. The food was excellent, hot and delicious. The staff was all so friendly and the service was very good. Well done all
