Avalon Bagels To Burgers - Yorba Linda

What a lovely breakfast spot! They make their bagels by hand, and there are so many flavors to choose from. The breakfast special is an incredible value and quite filling! The fries are crispy and flavorful, and the bagels are simply delicious. I highly recommend this place! We also tried the lox and cream cheese, which came with red onion and tomato—a new favorite of mine! The red onion paired beautifully and balanced the rich flavors perfectly. To my delight, they even included some candied toppings and bagel chips as a surprise! I'm absolutely in love with this place; it’s very clean and not overly crowded. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Be sure to check it out!

Updated. Eating is great. burgers are one of the best in yorba linda. bagels are also delicious. the customer service was much better than this scourge. coffee itself is served by a thermos. several options, including decafe. inside and outside seating are available.

Unfortunately, we had to wait over 10 minutes for our order—possibly even 15 minutes—while customers who arrived after us were served first. When our food finally arrived, it was prepared incorrectly: the hamburger only had the meat and bun, without cheese, and the cheeseburger came with all the toppings instead of the cheese. We brought this to the staff's attention, but they responded insincerely with a simple "I'm sorry," which was frustrating. My son also complained that the plain hamburger was too dry and that the bun didn't taste right. Shortly after finishing our meal and leaving the restaurant—about an hour later—I experienced severe diarrhea. I usually have a strong stomach and don’t often have these issues, so it was quite surprising and uncomfortable. Thankfully, I was near a restroom. We will be traveling to Yorba Linda, which is less than 5 minutes away from this restaurant, next month, so this experience was extremely disappointing for us. I can safely say we won't be returning here, but unfortunately, I will have to pass by this restaurant regularly, which will remind me of our terrible experience. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. The bagels were quite good, and there were many locals who seemed to be regulars, familiar with the staff. I recommend trying the bagel with a veggie omelet on a multigrain bagel—it was delicious! The menu offers a variety of other tasty vegetarian options as well. I really enjoyed the vibe of the place. They also have Wi-Fi, but be aware that there are no power outlets, so I had to find another spot when my laptop battery ran low.
