After my round at the Sprain Lake Golf Course, I really needed to get something to eat before driving home. I ordered the mushroom burger (rare), I had it with cheddar cheese. Cook nailed the rare part the fries were really good. Wait staff/bar maid was friendly quick. View all feedback.
What Thomas Barr doesn't like about The Lakeview Tavern:
It seems like a great atmosphere but my opinion they could be so much more. The view is beautiful the hours are lacking and the menu was not very exciting. A great spot like this it seems could do so much more and be so much better View all feedback.

After my round at the Sprain Lake Golf Course, I was in need of a bite to eat before heading home. I ordered the mushroom burger cooked rare, topped with cheddar cheese. The chef perfectly prepared it to my liking, and the fries were delicious. The waitstaff and bartender were friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience.
The Tavern is essentially the 19th hole of the golf course. I visited for dinner at 6 PM and was informed that the kitchen closes at 7 PM. It seems to cater primarily to golfers and club members during the day.
The service was mediocre, and the food was just average. Additionally, I found it to be somewhat overpriced.
The restaurant offers a stunning view and delicious food, with excellent service to match!
