Jjr Highridge Fishery - Yonkers

I want to note that until yesterday, I would have rated this place four or five stars. High Ridge has always been my favorite spot for consistently fresh seafood. However, perhaps it was a mistake to buy fish on a Tuesday. I purchased 2 pounds of sole for $21.99 per pound, and unfortunately, the fish was spoiled. I can't understand how they could sell such foul-smelling fish. — Confused in Bronxville.

Sandrea is amazing! She genuinely shows a lot of love to all her customers and remembers our preferences. The fish is fantastic; I always have mine cooked here, and they do an excellent job. I would recommend it to anyone!

I just visited the restaurant, and they recently started serving tostones—delicious! I ordered some lobster salad, which I absolutely love, and put it over the tostones. I paired it with a cold beer, and it was fantastic!

Been going like a year now great fish however every time , I deal with this one ladie she always seems to have an attitude problem which I don’t understand I just come in order my fish I give a tip as well and even her I tip. So if she is working when I go now I usually wait for someone else . I wanna keep going but lately I just go to Whole Foods. Fish however is great!

You usually have to wait a little around lunch time rush but everything is always fresh and made to perfection.
