Hook Reel Cajun Seafood - Yonkers

Everything was delicious and service was excellent! Our waitress was attentive, friendly and helpful! Better quality and prices than City Island any day.

My friend and I drove to Yonkers for a day of shopping, and as he knows I love seafood he asked if I wanted to stop for lunch when he spotted Hook and Reel. We went in and while there was not many people inside we decided to give it a try. We ordered from a young waitress who we eventually noticed she was the only waitress working. She maneuvering from table to table placing orders, filling in at the bar, cleaning tables, bringing out food everything. While the owner/manager walked around with his arms folded. He didn't lift a finger to jump in and assist with not one single thing!!! The food we ordered: clams, shrimp, chicken wings, fries and broccoli were bland.... totally with the exception of the chicken wings they were sooo salty we had to send them back! I would probably give this location another try due to it's cleanliness and the waitress hustle. She kept her composer and continued to smile and be extremely polite. We made certain to speak to the manager before we left the location.

I usually like this place but tonight not so much. The diner was half frozen. we did not want to complain bc again we do enjoy coming here. But adding 18% gratuity to the bill is ridiculous. The service is not worth an 18% tip.

This is my favorite seafood place so far. No complaints! The seafood boils are delicious and great quality! Hush puppies are yummy too!

The staff was nice and very informative about the food options there. The happy hour drinks were good. I recommend the rum punch. If you're there during the week, I recommend getting the all you can eat option. It's the best bang for your buck. The only downfall to this place is allowing happy hour at the bar only. The bar is a descent size but I think as business picks up, they will have to expand it to the entire restaurant.
