This restaurant delivers everything you'd expect from the New Haven vibe, enhanced by a touch of New York City flair, resulting in a truly unique experience. The pizza I received was cold—it wasn't even warm, and I picked it up just 15 minutes after placing my order. I had requested that the pizza not be charred, but it was covered in black soot from the bottom of the oven, both on top of the cheese and underneath the crust. Pizza made to order. I asked for a personal with lite sauce, that's what I received. I loved the crust. A very good pizza, highly recommended
There's not too many places where you can enjoy a pie like the one you get at Frank Pepe. Made in traditional style in a true coal fired brick oven. You may wait a few minutes during peak hours, but it's worth it.
Go back to New England, this is no where near NY pizza!! No slices only full pies, way to long of wait for horrible pizza, dominos is better! The dough is so glutinous you’re just chewing and chewing like a cow eating rough tough hay. Nasty real nasty!
The pizza here is fantastic! I particularly love the Foxon’s soda. The crust is thin and crispy, and it's cooked perfectly, which I really appreciate.
We had a very pleasant experience. Our server was very pleasant and welcoming. We ordered a large cheese pizza and it came perfectly cooked. We have been there before and always a great meal.
