Was Jane P'ng at Taw Tek Vegetarian a mag?
I recently tried one of the best local vegan restaurants in Yong Peng. Despite the unassuming appearance of the shop front and lack of a proper menu, the food was amazing. It helps to be able to speak the local language and dialect when ordering. The owner recommended several dishes, all of which were delicious. We ordered 6 dishes, including soup, and the total bill was only around RM60. Highly recommend! View all feedback.

This is one of the best local vegan restaurants I have ever tried in Yong Peng. The storefront may not be very appealing and there is no proper menu, but it would be helpful if they could speak the local language and dialect. I spoke to the boss who recommended a few dishes to me and they were all delicious. We ate 6 dishes (including soup) and it only cost us around RM60!

We ordered Asam fish, Xiao Bai cai, and Tofu with basil. The dishes tasted like homemade food - delicious and generously portioned.
